How did it slope? Id say fairly good in nice winds. I have several with that wing structure and they all slope very well. Never DLG any of them.

Small FYI for anyone watching this more recently. The small wire he used to complete the circuit and join the cells together may not be enough to hand the current between cells. A larger wire may be necessary.

If I could give 2 thumbs up I would. I've given up on 3d printed planes... they are just to heavy and fragile.

This was just what I needed. Removed a bad cell and hood as new. Liked and subbed.

Had one of these karts in the shed that I revived. Put a new motor on with torque converter, rips now, pulls wheelies and hit 75km/h. Now I’ve got a complete suspension build on the way and a second motor swap planned.

I build and fly pod & boom as well, but I run the stab wire THROUGH the boom to a horn on the back of the empinage. Works very well and less to snag on brush if I land without catching. I don't build DLG, though. I do soaring in thermals and launch with just a toss into an updraft, which you learn how to recognize by watching wind acting on grass. You can easily build in camber using slabs of laminated sheet foam carved into shape using an undercambered wing rib as a pattern -- just sand and check often. Easy, really.

OK, The reason for the step on the floats ist the balancing point of the plane (Main Wing Spar). AT the planes neutral point, Balancing point the step kicks in and breaks surface tension of the water. Another words the weight is too far back on the floats for the ducted fan boat. Yes, it goes well but you missed the point of it. You can go faster. By getting the entire float out of the water you now have a hydroplane you will need a longer rudder. You will need a bigger pond.
